The reason why I really liked this poem was because it can be related to in numerous amount of ways.

 Today we watched 2 short films about the universe and found out that sound is in the universe and we actually heard the sound from a blackhole. Also we talked about a poem called “ I’m Nobody! Who are you? “ It was breaking down what a Nobody is and what a Somebody is.

 I feel like the probability of life outside of earth is a very slim to non chance of a human being living especially for years on end. My reaction to seeing earth from mars is pretty shocking, because of how small we appear to mars. My reaction to hearing the sound of a black hole is pretty exciting since the myth of no sound in space had been debunked. All of this puts my life into perspective by letting me know that we are just a small spec in the universe and everything doesn’t revolve around us.

We watched a short film today called Life Film and it was basically summing up that life is simple, and you do not have to take the hard route. Also we went over a poem which was interesting and answered some question on it.

 So basically today what I did was rewrite my Origin Myth. It was pretty interesting because I’ve never done something like this ever. My origin story was 1 page and a half I actually enjoyed writing this story because it brought out my creative side and I like telling stories so that went hand and hand.

 So in todays lesson we watched a short film in the beginning of class which was called “ Recoiled “. What I learned from that film alone was that you should always be yourself no matter what, and also to never change for anyone. Another thing I learned today was how to write my own Origin Myth.

Today I learned more about Origin myths. Also we watched a short film in the beginning of class which dealt with stereotypes. Another thing we talked about was this short passage called “ Navajo Creation “ and how it had some similarities to the Bible.

 So today I learned that everyone has a different perspective to life than everyone else. You may feel like everything is falling apart and that you want to give up, but someone else may rejoice in that moment knowing that Jesus has them no matter what circumstance their in.

 What I learned today in class was that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Also I learned the specific 8 figures of speech, also the examples.

 Today I learned how we actually read with a purpose daily. Also I learned that reading more often will tend to strengthen your ability to read. One more thing I’d like to add is that we watched a short film in the beginning of class and I felt like the message was saying you should do the right thing because it is simply the right thing.

 I learned that talent isn’t everything, and hard work beats talent. This applies to me in the sense that I know I can outwork everyone no matter the experience one has.

 I learned about formal and informal writing, the way I can apply this to my life since I will become a Loan Originator is by writing or suggesting a customer a loan for a house in a formal way.

 Wassup my name is Sean and I got to Cedar Grove HighSchool. I’m 17 years old and I’m originally from Kingsbridge in Bronx,New York. One thing I like to do for fun is workout and 3 goals that I have for this academic year is to graduate, maintain A’s and B’s and stay focused.
